FAQ
Do you upload my Live Photo?
No. The MOV inside the Live Photo is decoded in a Web Worker on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Will this GIF open on Windows?
Yes. Windows and the web do not play iPhone Live Photos. A GIF does.
What can I drop in?
A .mov from the Live Photo, an Apple .livp package, or the HEIC still and MOV video together. The video is what becomes the GIF.
Why would conversion fail?
iPhone Live Photos are usually HEVC. This page decodes them with WebCodecs. If your browser cannot decode HEVC, use Live Photo to MP4, which includes a local fallback, or open this page in Safari.
